First Time Visitor?

Thank you for taking time to visit with us.  We consider our main mission to be; making disciples for Jesus Christ.  It is our hope that the first time you visit with us you will feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit springing forth in all that we do.  We want you to know that whether it's your first time to be with us or you 100th time, you are important and welcomed!

 

What You Can Expect

You might notice under the worship times section that we normally have 2 services on Sunday, except on the first Sunday when we have only one.  We combine that day because every first Sunday we celebrate Holy Communion (which is open to anyone) and we want to do it as a church family.

Our early service is more contemporary with a praise band, videos and a generally more laid-back attitude.

Our second service is more traditional  but not formal.  We have an excellent choir and frequent specials from our handbell choir.  We still make use of our technology but worship with those old familiar hymns.

A person in a suit or blue jeans would not feel out of place in either service.

This congregation has a special love and call to minister with children and they are welcomed and encouraged in worship.  During both services there is a special time where the children are invited forward for a time just for them.  Then if parents wish, the children may go with our children's ministry staff during the sermon to participate in more age appropriate activities.

Our nursery is staffed with state certified personnel and our ushers would be happy to direct you there if you wish.

We have parking areas in the front and back of the buildings as well as directly across the street from the Sanctuary front doors, SE corner of 40th and Poplar Springs Dr.

You will find ushers and greeters who are willing and waiting to have the opportunity to help you.
